There are several kinds of breast abscess diagnosis: 1. Self-diagnosis: Because breast abscess is an inflammatory reaction with redness, swelling and pain, it is easy to find out by oneself, but some deep abscesses are found to be breast abscesses only through one’s own touch or when one is bathing and others help to feel it. That is, when the abscess is serious, it is easy to find that there will be severe redness, swelling, and a sense of fluctuation; 2. Physical examination: the most important of the auxiliary examinations in the hospital is ultrasound, which is generally more accurate and can clearly determine whether the lesion belongs to an abscess or other inflammatory reaction; 3. Other examinations that are not very routine: X-ray examination, which is generally recommended for women over 35 years of age and does some damage to the body. MR examination, commonly known as MRI, which is more accurate but more expensive and has a certain economic burden for patients, is not used as a routine examination, but for fistula-type breast abscesses, MR can be used as a further examination program; 4. Bacteriological examination: after pus culture, the classification and typing of bacteria can be clarified, which is helpful for treatment; 5. Puncture examination: for abscesses caused by autoimmunity, it is diagnosis, but not as a routine examination.
