How to deal with bleeding belly button

For belly button bleeding, different treatment methods can be adopted depending on the cause of the patient’s bleeding. If the local skin is inadvertently scratched with capillary bleeding, the bleeding can be stopped by disinfection with vital iodine and compression with sterile gauze or dressing. In the case of patients with normal coagulation function, local bleeding can generally stop on its own after 2-3 minutes. If the patient is accompanied by abnormal capillary hyperplasia causing active bleeding, vital iodine cotton balls are needed to thoroughly remove the metabolic waste inside the navel, disinfect with hydrogen peroxide, saline and vital iodine in turn to avoid local bacterial infection, and active bleeding needs to be given to suture to stop bleeding or local vascular ligation to control bleeding. After the operation, the incision at the navel should be changed to avoid the formation of abscess due to local bacterial infection.
