Nimesulide is an NSAID used for antipyretic and analgesic purposes and is most commonly used clinically for the treatment of fever. The main adverse effects of this drug include heartburn, nausea, stomach pain, and allergic dermatitis. In addition, Nimesulide, like other NSAIDs, may cause complications such as dizziness, drowsiness, peptic ulcers, and gastrointestinal bleeding. Therefore, when using Nimesulide, be careful not to use it together with other NSAIDs. It should not be used for patients with active gastrointestinal bleeding or peptic ulcers, or for patients who are using anticoagulants, anti-platelet coagulants, and other drugs. Nimesulide should not be used in patients with severe hepatic impairment or in patients with severe renal impairment.
