Malignant ovarian cancer is a malignant tumor that grows on the ovary. There are mainly three pathological types of ovarian cancer: epithelial cancer, malignant germ cell tumor and specific cord mesenchymal stromal cell tumor, among which epithelial ovarian cancer is the most common. Early stage often has no obvious clinical symptoms, when the tumor grows or metastasizes, abdominal distension, abdominal pain, abdominal mass and so on will appear, and may also be accompanied by lethargy, anemia and other malignant manifestations. If ovarian cancer has torsion or rupture, it will cause severe abdominal pain, and if secondary infection occurs, it will also cause fever, abdominal pain, elevated white blood cells and so on. Ovarian cancer is mainly treated by surgery, supplemented by chemotherapy, radiotherapy and other comprehensive treatments. Its therapeutic effect is affected by factors such as clinical staging, pathologic typing and body condition. It is suggested that ovarian cancer patients should go to the hospital in time and have regular treatment under the guidance of doctors, which can help prolong the survival period of patients.
