Nucleic acid is done at 10 am and results can be obtained at 10 pm. Before the patient does the nucleic acid test, the specimen needs to be collected first, and then the fluorescent RT-PCR test is taken to make a judgment, and this stage takes about 2-4 hours, and this 2-4 hours is just the operation time of simply one specimen. Under normal circumstances, the laboratory will carry out batch specimen operation, when hundreds of specimens to the laboratory, need to carry out specimen box checking, specimen sorting and specimen pre-treatment and other links, it will take 3-4 hours to really start the nucleic acid extraction process. After extraction, further PCR amplification is required, which takes about 80-120 minutes. If the lab procedure is successful, there is no need to repeat the test, and the result is ready in about 8 hours. However, if the test is repeated, it will take a little longer, perhaps 10 hours or so, so the nucleic acid is done at 10 a.m. and the result is ready at 10 p.m.
