What’s the problem with incoherent speech and constant pauses?

Incoherent speech with constant pauses may be related to physiological factors, or it may be caused by cerebrovascular disease, dysfunction of articulation organs and other reasons.
1. Physiological factors: some people are not good at speaking due to speech development or speaking habits, they may show incoherent speech with constant pauses, without any other discomforts, so they do not need special interventions, and they can also undergo rehabilitation training.
2. Cerebrovascular disease: It is common in cerebral hemorrhage, cerebral infarction and other diseases, which can easily cause speech dysfunction, and may show incoherent and constant pauses in speech. It is mostly considered that it may be caused by ischemia and hypoxia of local brain tissues, which leads to the damage of cerebral nerves and language center.
3. Dysfunction of articulation organs: for example, the presence of laryngeal muscle incoordination, cleft lip and palate, short tongue tie and other problems may cause incoherent speech and constant pauses.
Incoherent speech is always paused, after excluding physiological factors, should be timely to the regular hospital for medical treatment.
