What happened to the shivering caused by the infusion?

After the infusion, sometimes there will be shivering and chills all over the body, and then fever, with a light body temperature of about 38℃, which can return to normal by itself in a few hours after stopping the infusion, and a heavy body temperature that can reach over 40℃, and there will be headache, nausea, vomiting, fast heartbeat and other symptoms of general discomfort. Most of these cases occur within a few minutes to an hour after the infusion, mainly because of the infusion reaction, also called febrile reaction. Most of them are caused by incomplete sterilization of infusion items, impure infusion solutions or drug preparations, or lack of sterilization and preservation, lack of strict sterilization of infusion equipment, contamination of infusion equipment, and lack of strict implementation of aseptic operation during infusion.
