The white spots on the nipples during breastfeeding are considered to be caused by the following conditions, firstly, it may be due to the white skin that appears when the child sucks too much, or inflammation caused by bacterial infection, which can be dealt with by means of local hot compresses, and excess milk can be applied to the nipples after breastfeeding. Secondly, the ulcers may be caused by cracked nipples, one because of incorrect breastfeeding posture, not putting the whole areola inside the child’s mouth, and the child only eating the nipple, resulting in a broken nipple and the formation of a white ulcerated object. Then, it may be because the milk is not emptied and thus keeps overflowing, and when the milk is dehydrated a white dot-like substance is formed. If white spots appear during breastfeeding you need to consider that they are caused by these problems, it is best to clean them in time and if there is an abnormal painful sensation, you need to go to the hospital for an examination.
