What does delayed paralysis mean?

Delayed palsy, whether in pediatric or adult, after the initial central nervous system dysfunction, leads to low muscle tone and some manifestations of motor inability, mainly manifesting as floppy palsy, where the patient cannot move at will, and low muscle strength and low muscle tone are the main manifestations. Take pediatric cerebral palsy as an example, there are spastic type and delayed type of cerebral palsy, and the delayed type manifests as soft collapse, inability to lift the head, inability to lift the arms, inability to grasp the hands, and inability to walk. Normally, children can walk with support at 10 months of age, but children with delayed cerebral palsy may not walk at 1 or 2 years of age. In other central nervous system diseases that cause delayed paralysis, patients in the early stages of the disease show symptoms such as low muscle strength, inability to lift arms, legs or lift with no strength, inability to take steps, inability to lift arms, inability to grasp, etc. All actions of daily life cannot be performed by the limbs.
