Hairy thickening of the gallbladder wall up to 4mm is commonly seen in cholecystitis disease, but it cannot be ruled out as a result of uneven thickening of the wall of the gallbladder, liver lesions and other diseases. The gallbladder has the function of contraction and storage of bile, the normal gallbladder is located in the gallbladder fossa of the liver, the wall of the gallbladder is thin and smooth, the wall thickness is 1-2mm, greater than 3mm for the thickening of the wall of the gallbladder, which can be seen in the following cases: 1. Cholecystitis: a chemical and bacterial inflammation of the gallbladder, mostly accompanied by gallbladder stones, often manifested as right upper abdominal pain, which can be triggered by eating greasy food. Imaging examination, such as ultrasound, suggests that the gallbladder wall thickening, edema, roughness, bilateral sign shadow and other manifestations. 2. Uneven thickening of gallbladder wall: it is usually seen in gallbladder adenomyosis, gallbladder adenoma, or even gallbladder cancer, which needs further examination such as enhanced CT or magnetic resonance, and requires high vigilance and active treatment. 3. Liver lesions: if the gallbladder wall is thickened, but the patient has no obvious symptoms, it should be considered whether there are liver lesions, such as viral hepatitis, cirrhosis, ascites, alcoholic liver, fatty liver and other diseases. Thickening of the gallbladder wall to 4mm is only one of the manifestations of gallbladder imaging, and it is not possible to judge the condition on the basis of imaging alone.
