The following treatment measures can be taken when eating with large gaps: First, apply a rounded and smooth toothpick in time after meals to remove the embedded food fibers, which can be combined with a flosser to remove soft food scale under pressure. Second, use a smooth car needle to adjust and grind the adjacent surface to expand the outreach gap to facilitate food spillage. Third, adjust and grind the cusp or marginal ridge of the contralateral jaw filling to reduce the food embedding. Fourth, the adjacent and jaw surfaces of the affected teeth are prepared and all-ceramic or metal inlay restorations are made to restore a good adjacent relationship. Fifth, the teeth on both sides of the gap can be prepared separately and a porcelain or all-ceramic continuous crown can be made to close the gap.
