Post-Cartilage Transplantation Rehabilitation

  1. The knee joint was immobilized with a brace for 48 hours after surgery, followed by continuous passive motion (CPM machine) for at least 12 weeks for 8 hours a day. 2. Restriction of movement to an angle of no more than 60 degrees for the first 3 weeks, followed by full range of motion. 3. Partial weight-bearing can be performed after 6-12 weeks (depending on the injury). 4.After 6 weeks, it is recommended to actively assist the patient in rehabilitation training. 5.After 12 weeks, functional training and muscular structure training can be performed. 6.After one year, competitive sports (special activity load) can be performed. Tips: 1. Postoperative rehabilitation training under the guidance of a physical therapist is highly recommended to prevent postoperative adhesions and thrombosis. 2.No other surgical treatment within six months prior to this surgery.
