Langerhans’ cell hyperplasia is formally known as Langerhans’ cell histiocytosis in medicine. The treatment needs to be combined with the specific condition, and the commonly used ones are chemotherapy, surgery and radiation therapy. 1. Chemotherapy: commonly used chemotherapy drugs include prednisone, vincristine and cyclophosphamide. The development of comprehensive therapeutic measures has led to a significant improvement in the prognosis of Langerhans’ cell histiocytosis, especially in patients with severe disease. 2. Surgery: For simple bone damage, if there is only a single focal lesion, surgical scraping is used, which usually results in some improvement. 3. Radiation therapy: It is suitable for isolated bone lesions, especially in the parts that are difficult to be scraped off by surgery, such as the periorbital area, jawbone, mastoid process, or the spine that is prone to fracture and nerve injury after weight-bearing, as well as early pituitary gland lesions. If the diagnosis of Langerhans’ cell histiocytosis is confirmed, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time to give standardized treatment as early as possible, and blind self-medication should be avoided.
