Is a disproportionate liver always cirrhosis?

Liver disproportion, just a common symptom of cirrhosis, does not represent a confirmed diagnosis of cirrhosis.
Liver disproportion, usually refers to the atrophy of liver lobules, which is generally manifested by the reduction of liver volume, indicating hardening, the appearance of granules, the number of hepatocytes decreased, when this sign appears, it often means that the normal structure of the liver is destroyed, its basic metabolic dysfunction, its synthesis and metabolism function is reduced, so the liver disproportion is the main sign of cirrhosis.
However, the disproportion of the liver does not indicate that cirrhosis has been diagnosed. The most accurate way of detecting cirrhosis is to take a puncture biopsy of the liver and diagnose cirrhosis through the pathological signs mentioned above after removing the liver biopsy tissue.
If any of the above pathologic signs and symptoms appear, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time for early and regular treatment.
