The uses of bone scan are as follows: 1, mostly for the early diagnosis of primary bone tumors, soft tissue of bone tumors, and lung metastases; 2, to detect unexplained bone pain; 3, to target skeletal pathological tissues; 4, to cooperate with radiotherapy plans; 5, to diagnose the presence of bone metastases in patients with suspicious tumors; 6, to diagnose and follow up inflammatory lesions of the skeleton; 7, to differentially diagnose stress fractures, ischemic osteonecrosis, and other bone and joint trauma; 8, to localize Paget’s disease and to follow up after radiotherapy.
