Foods to avoid during menstruation

There is no clear dietary contraindication during menstruation, but it is recommended to eat less cold, spicy, stimulating and greasy food.
Cold foods include ice cream, ice-cream, ice watermelon and so on. Eating cold foods during menstruation may cause menstrual cramps or reduced menstrual flow. Avoid eating cold and chilly foods, drinking cold water or beverages, and trying not to touch cold water during menstruation to prevent menstrual cramps.
Spicy and stimulating foods include chili peppers, peppercorns and peppers. Eating spicy and stimulating foods during menstruation may cause menstrual cramps or increased menstrual flow. Avoid spicy and stimulating foods during menstruation and eat light foods to prevent menstrual cramps.
Oily foods include meat, fried and dairy products. Eating a large amount of oily food during menstruation may produce a greasy feeling, and it will also affect the gastrointestinal tract, which may cause symptoms such as bloating and diarrhea.
