Tramadol hydrochloride action

Tramadol hydrochloride is a Class II psychotropic drug that belongs to the opioid analgesic class and is available as a tablet and an injectable solution. Widely used clinically are mainly tramadol hydrochloride extended-release tablets, mainly used for moderate and severe pain, post-operative orthopedic patients are also applied. There are generally two doses of 50mg/tablet and 100mg/tablet, and the dose of the drug can be adjusted according to the patient’s pain level. For adults and patients over 14 years of age with moderate pain, 50-100mg should be taken orally once every 12 hours, and the maximum dose should not exceed 400mg in one day. for patients with hepatic or renal insufficiency, elderly patients, the dose needs to be reduced and used with discretion; for children, women and lactating women, the application is not recommended. It should be emphasized that Tramadol Hydrochloride is a psychotropic drug, and if used for a long time, drug resistance and drug dependence may easily occur.
