Grading of H. pylori values

H. pylori values are classified as grade IV, with higher grades indicating more severe infection. The H. pylori test is performed using a carbon 13 breath test, and after the test, the disease can be judged based on the value. When the value is less than 4, it is a grade 0, indicating that the patient’s stomach is not infected with H. pylori and is in a healthy state. A value between 4 and 20 indicates a positive H. pylori infection of grade I. Patients in this category can decide whether to undergo treatment in conjunction with their physical symptoms. A value between 20 and 40 indicates that the patient has reached grade II and should be alerted and treated promptly for symptoms such as bloating and acid reflux. A value of 40 or more indicates a serious H. pylori infection, a grade III infection that requires early treatment.
