There is no clear benefit of drinking soda for people with coronary heart disease.
Coronary heart disease, also known as coronary atherosclerotic heart disease, is a heart disease in which the coronary arteries undergo atherosclerosis, narrowing or blocking the blood vessels and leading to ischemia, hypoxia or necrosis of the heart muscle cells.
Soda is an aqueous solution of sodium bicarbonate, which is weakly alkaline. Natural soda is rich in boron, zinc, selenium, chromium and other minerals and trace elements, which can replenish the body’s water needs and maintain the normal physiological function of the body. But most of what people drink is synthetic soda, which contains many sugars and additives. But any kind of soda has no clear benefit for coronary heart disease.
For patients with coronary heart disease, the general diet for the treatment of coronary heart disease has no clear benefit. Once diagnosed with coronary heart disease you need to go to the hospital in time, under the guidance and advice of the doctor to choose the right treatment for you.
