Indications and contraindications for minimally invasive radiofrequency treatment of lower extremity varicose veins!

Minimally invasive radiofrequency treatment of varicose veins of the lower extremities due to fast recovery (completed under local anesthesia, can be immediately discharged from the hospital), low incidence of pain hematoma and numbness, low recurrence rate, in Europe and the United States has been widely used in clinical applications, but not all patients are suitable for application of radiofrequency treatment, the indications and contraindications are stated as follows: 1. Saphenous varicose veins with a diameter of more than 2mm, varicose veins of the lower extremities of the superficial varices Varicose veins of the lower limbs accompanied by lower limb discomfort, heavy fatigue; 3. Varicose veins of the lower limbs accompanied by lower limb edema, skin pigmentation; 4. Varicose veins of the lower limbs accompanied by eczematous dermatitis (stasis dermatitis); 5. Varicose veins of the lower limbs accompanied by lower limb lipoidal scleroderma-like changes in the skin; 6. Varicose veins of the lower limbs accompanied by thrombosed superficial phlebitis; 7. Varicose veins of the lower extremities with venous rupture and bleeding; 8. Varicose veins of the lower extremities with venous ulcers (healed or unhealed skin ulcers). Contraindications: 1. Saphenous vein diameter <2mm or >15mm; 2. Saphenous vein thrombosis catheter can not be upward; 3. Serious twisting of the saphenous vein; 4. Saphenous vein varicose tightly to the skin or the junction of saphenofemoral vein with a large tumorous dilatation; 5. Combined with the lower extremity deep venous thrombosis; 6. Coagulation dysfunction; 7. Serious liver function abnormality; 8. Pregnant, breastfeeding; 9. Serious heart disease; 9. 9. Those who have serious cardiopulmonary function disease and poor general condition and difficult to lie down.
