Erjiao 30g refers to 30g each of Atractylodes macrocephala and Atractylodes cangzhu. Atractylodes macrocephala is often seen in Chinese medicine prescriptions, but in fact, it is not a medicine, but a substitute name or abbreviation for Atractylodes macrocephala and Atractylodes macrocephala. Atractylodes macrocephala has the efficacy of drying dampness, strengthening the spleen, dispelling wind and dispersing cold, while atractylodes macrocephala can tonify qi, strengthen the spleen, and dry dampness and promote diuresis. The two are often used together to strengthen the spleen and dispel dampness, such as liver and spleen, remove dampness to stop the famous formula in the belt soup together with the use of the two artifacts. In Chinese medicine, the dosage of Erjiao in the prescription is the dosage of Cangzhu and Baijiao respectively, not the total amount of the two. Similarly, there are abbreviations such as “Jiao Sanxian” and “Jingfeng”, which stand for Jiao hawthorn, Jiao malt, Jiao shenqu, Jingwu and Fangfeng, etc., and the dosage of the two is the respective dosage of the constituent medicines. The subsequent dosages are the respective dosages of the constituent drugs.
