What is associated with fever and colds?

Any factor that causes a decrease in the body’s resistance can cause a cold and fever when infected with pathogenic bacteria. Disease factors such as sleep disorders, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and AIDS; medication factors such as glucocorticoids and mycophenolate; environmental factors such as sudden changes in weather and sudden drops in temperature; and personal factors such as age, pregnancy and lack of exercise are all associated with cold and fever.
