Three Kidney Pills is composed of Dog Kidney, Deer Kidney, Fennel, Chen Pi, Cuscuta, Hippocampus, Cow’s Knee, Di Huang, Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong, Papaya, Semen Materia Medica, Yam, Maitake Maitake, Epimedium, and Cinnamon, etc. It can treat impotence, slippage of spermatozoa, shortness of breath, weakness, and fear of coldness of waist and knees, which are caused by the deficiency of Kidney Essence and Yuanyang. Weng Litong Capsule is composed of Zhe Bei Mu, Coix Seed, Honeysuckle, Zelan, Rhubarb, Astragalus, Glycyrrhiza glabra, etc. It can treat prostatic hyperplasia caused by dampness-heat with phlegm-blood stasis obstruction, which manifests as urinary urgency, urinary frequency, urinary fineness, and difficulty in urination. Adverse reactions include abdominal pain, nausea, stomach distension, rash, itching, constipation, and inexact contraindications.
