Pientzehuang has the functions of clearing heat and removing toxins, cooling blood and removing blood stasis, etc. It is mainly used in treating acute and chronic viral hepatitis caused by heat, toxins and blood stasis, carbuncle and gangrene (a kind of poisonous sores, acute suppurative disease occurring on the body surface, limbs and internal organs) furuncles and so on.
Pientzehuang, composed of cowhuang, musk, panax ginseng and snake gall. It has the efficacy of clearing heat and removing toxins, cooling blood and removing blood stasis, subduing swelling and relieving pain. It is mainly used for treating acute and chronic viral hepatitis caused by heat and blood stasis, carbuncle and furuncle, anonymous swelling and poison, bruises and various inflammations.
Pregnant women should not take. Avoid eating spicy and greasy food during the period of taking. If there is no improvement of symptoms after 3 days of taking the medicine, or if accompanied by systemic symptoms such as malignant cold (fear of cold) and fever during the period of taking the medicine, the patient should go to the hospital for consultation.
When taking Pientzehuang, patients should use it according to doctor’s instruction and should not take it by themselves.
