There are three types of holmium laser lithotripsy: one is transurethral ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy, which may cost$17,000 to$20,000; another is transurethral ureteroscopic flexible holmium laser lithotripsy, which may cost$40,000 to$50,000; and another is percutaneous nephrolithoscopic holmium laser lithotripsy, which may cost$30,000. For different types of holmium laser lithotripsy, the charges are different. Ureteral flexible lithotripsy is the most expensive; it is the least invasive and essentially non-invasive. Holmium laser lithotripsy with percutaneous nephroscopy, which has the best lithotripsy efficiency, can effectively remove the broken stones in the kidney, while quickly relieving the obstruction and restoring the function of the kidney the fastest.
