What’s wrong with a small amount of fluid coming out at 37 weeks pregnant

A small amount of fluid coming out of the vagina during the 37th week of pregnancy may be a sign of impending labor or premature rupture of membranes; it depends on whether the fluid is bloody or colorless.

1. Bloody fluid: after 37 weeks of pregnancy, a small amount of bloody fluid comes out of the vagina, also known as redness; if it is accompanied by contractions, it suggests that labor is about to enter the stage of labor; if the amount has increased but there is no other reaction, you should be admitted to the hospital in time to have a checkup and clarify the cause.

2. Colorless liquid: mostly seen in amniotic fluid; and common in premature rupture of membranes, mainly manifested as paroxysmal or persistent vaginal discharge of pregnant women, usually without abdominal pain, uterine contractions and other symptoms; 37 weeks of pregnancy is already full-term, clear premature rupture of membranes can be terminated as soon as possible.

37 weeks pregnant with a small amount of vaginal fluid flow, should be timely to the hospital obstetrics consultation, and under the guidance of the doctor to take reasonable measures, so as not to affect the health of pregnant women and the fetus.
