How do you operate on a lumbar burst fracture?

If the fracture mass that occurs after a lumbar burst fracture violates the spinal canal, the conventional approach is to use surgical treatment. Typically, this involves driving the fracture block through instrumentation into the vertebral body to facilitate fracture repositioning. Since the fracture block may move after the fracture is reset, screws are usually implanted at the ends of the fractured vertebrae of the fracture block, which are then supported by force to reduce the change in pressure on the injured vertebrae, i.e., the spinal nail rod technique is used to achieve a good therapeutic effect.
