The difference between EEG and MRI

EEG and MRI are two very different testing methods. EEG is mainly a testing method for brain waves, while MRI is mainly a testing method for imaging. However, EEG is mainly used for epilepsy and intracranial infections, as well as other causes of various central nervous system diseases, mainly through the abnormalities of brain waves in different patients for diagnosis and differential diagnosis, while MRI is the use of magnetic field to detect changes in imaging, the nature of these two testing methods are different, and the purpose of testing is also different. For neurology, the main purpose of MRI is to look at the structure of brain tissue, but also to observe whether there is an acute stroke, whether there is a brain hemorrhage, whether there is an occupying lesion, but also to see the magnetic resonance angiography, and the emerging functional MRI is very widely used, the two methods of detection are different, the purpose is completely different.
