What is the method of bladder flushing operation procedure

There are two main methods of bladder irrigation, one is urinary catheterization method of irrigation, and the other is cystoscopic irrigation. 1. Urinary catheterization method: divided into intermittent flushing and continuous flushing. (1) Intermittent irrigation requires the retention of a double-lumen catheter, filling the catheter with about 200 ml of irrigation fluid and releasing it after about half an hour of retention in the bladder. (2) Continuous irrigation requires the use of a three-lumen catheter, external irrigation fluid, continuous open irrigation, this method can be maintained for a longer period of time, usually more than 24 hours, according to the condition and the properties of the irrigation fluid and then decide whether to extend the irrigation time. 2. Cystoscopic irrigation: This method does not require a catheter, but a cystoscope. The cystoscope is connected to the external flushing solution, and the bladder is flushed under the direct vision of the camera, and the lesions can be observed directly during the flushing. Bladder irrigation needs to be performed by a specialized physician to avoid blind operation on your own.
