Compression fracture of lumbar 2 vertebrae depends on the severity of the fracture, whether the nerves and spinal cord are damaged, and the degree of recovery in the later stages. If it is a mild compression fracture without nerve compression and paralysis, the fracture usually heals on its own and does not have much effect on the lumbar spine and lower limb function in the later stages of the disease, and in this case, it can only be determined to be 11th or 12th grade. If the spinal nerves are damaged and paralysis of the lower limbs occurs, the lower limbs are completely paralyzed, loss of mobility and incontinence can be assessed as Grade I. If there is a partial loss of function, the lower limbs can also be assessed as Grade II. If there is a partial loss of function, but the lower limbs can still move slowly, the patient can be assessed as Grade 2 or Grade 3.
