Inhalation ipratropium bromide solution is mainly used for the treatment of chronic bronchitis and emphysema, caused by the maintenance treatment of bronchospasm, but also used in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and so on.
Inhaled ipratropium bromide solution belongs to cholinergic receptor blocking drugs, which is mainly used to treat reversible airway obstruction caused by acute or chronic asthma.
Some patients may experience headache, throat irritation, cough, dry mouth, gastrointestinal dyskinesia, nausea, and dizziness while using ipratropium bromide solution for inhalation, which is contraindicated for use in persons with known hypersensitivity to atropine or its derivatives and to any other ingredient in the drug.
