Osteoclasts are the imaging of a child or adolescent before the bones have developed. The osteochondral line is an indication that the bone still has some growth potential, which can be determined by X-ray or CT. When the bone scale line is not closed, the posterior bone line will appear as a translucent shadow on X-ray or CT. Once the bone scale line is closed or not completely closed, it will appear as a low-density shadow at the closed area becomes a high-density shadow or a blurred high-density shadow. Therefore, it is possible to clarify whether the epiphysis is closed by X-ray or CT.
