Bleeding from cervical HPV sampling is not normal. 1. Cervical HPV sampling: HPV sampling is done by rotating a special small brush 5~6 times at the cervical opening and the upper 1/3 of the vaginal wall of the vagina to collect the patient’s local tissues and secretions. Then the small brush is removed and placed in a special fixative (or a small amount of the removed material is applied to the fixative), and finally the HPV-DNA test is done. 2. The specialized small brush is relatively soft, and the sampling process generally does not damage the barrier of the cervix and should not cause bleeding. If the cervix is bleeding from HPV you should visit your gynecologist promptly. The specific situation should be judged in conjunction with the gynecologist’s specialized examination and the test results.
