In the face of the new pneumonia epidemic, how should children improve their psychological immunity? First of all, children should maintain a normal schedule of work and rest, order of life, reasonable arrangements for learning, recreation and home exercise, and do not overuse electronic products. Secondly, parents should protect children from too much negative information. According to the age and cognitive characteristics of children, they should give simple, clear and necessary information to build up confidence that they can overcome the epidemic. Third, parents should maintain emotional stability, pay attention to children’s protective measures, but do not be overly anxious and nervous, and create a safe and harmonious family atmosphere to ensure children’s inner sense of security. Fourthly, parents are advised to accompany children more, read more books, tell more stories, play parent-child games, and for children with emotional manifestations such as irritability, anxiety and fear, they can touch, hug and accompany them to sleep more often, so as to rebuild their sense of security by enhancing parent-child relationship. Finally, for various questions raised by children, including epidemic, disease, death, etc., parents should maintain a gentle and patient attitude, without avoiding, criticizing, or taboos, and give appropriate answers according to children’s age and understanding.
