How to correct protruding foot bone abduction

The protruding foot bone can be corrected by the following methods: 1. Conservative treatment: For milder foot bone abduction protrusion, conservative treatment can be used, including bunion braces, adding silicone pads between the first toe and the second toe, and through long-term correction, the foot bone abduction protrusion can be relieved, and the patient cannot wear pointed shoes and high heels at the same time. 2. Surgical treatment: For more serious foot bone abduction protrusion, surgical treatment is required. Usually conservative treatment is ineffective, surgical treatment needs to be considered, including severance of the bunion muscle, overlapping suture of the medial bunion capsule, and osteotomy of the distal end of the first metatarsal bone. Through comprehensive surgical treatment, the herniated foot bone can be completely corrected, the patient needs to cooperate with short-term rest and braking after surgery to avoid premature weight-bearing of the affected limb, to consolidate the treatment effect, and not to wear pointed shoes and high-heeled shoes after surgery.
