What happens when the heart sometimes stops beating?

If the heart sometimes stops for a while, the most common reason is that the patient has preterm contractions, also known as premature beats. In patients with premature contractions, there may be no obvious symptoms in the early stages, but sometimes the heart may stop, also known as abrupt stopping, and palpitations may occur, accompanied by panic and discomfort in the precordial area. Patients may also experience a pause in the heartbeat, a feeling of chest wall impingement, or a feeling that the heart is jumping into the throat, all of which are clinical signs and symptoms of pre-term contraction. In addition, some patients may experience dizziness, headache, weakness, and chest tightness and shortness of breath.
