Lung adenocarcinoma may be completely cured by surgery at an early stage. However, it is not absolute and needs to be decided according to the patient’s own situation. Early stage lung adenocarcinoma suggests that the maximum diameter of tumor lesion is less than 3cm and there is no metastasis to lymph nodes and distant organs. Early stage lung adenocarcinoma often manifests as cough, chest pain, wheezing and so on. As the disease is in early stage, most patients can be cured by surgical resection, because early lung adenocarcinoma lesions are limited to small masses, and patients without high-risk factors for recurrence do not need to do adjuvant chemotherapy after radical surgery. When lung adenocarcinoma is detected in early stage, patients should go to regular hospitals in time and follow the advice of specialists for standardized diagnosis and treatment and regular follow-up.
