The spread of large amount of ascites in advanced stage of ovarian cancer indicates that the cells of ovarian cancer have widely spread and metastasized in the abdominal cavity, and the condition has developed to an advanced stage. If this situation is not actively treated, then patients usually have a shorter survival period of about 3 to 6 months. If actively treated with combined radiotherapy, targeted therapy, endocrine therapy and peritoneal thermal perfusion chemotherapy, the patient’s symptoms can be alleviated and life span can be prolonged, and the patient can usually live for 1 to 3 years. Early symptoms of ovarian cancer are relatively insidious, and it is recommended that high-risk groups should have regular physical examination and screening.
