Granulomatous mastitis may appear acutely suppurative within 3-7 days or may take more than a month to become suppurative and is usually related to the progression of the disease. For patients with granulomatous mastitis who are in poor health or who have inflammation themselves, it is more likely to cause an inflammatory response in the body, leading to the development of redness, swelling, and pain in the breasts, and with the stimulation of inflammation, some glands will develop abscesses in about 3-7 days. If the patient is in good health or if the treatment is timely, the patient may take more than a month to develop purulent lesions, and may not even develop pus. Granulomatous mastitis will cause the patient’s breast pain, redness, swelling, localized breast lumps and even localized ulceration and other symptoms occur, the treatment cycle is relatively long. When patients have granulomatous mastitis, they should go to the hospital in time for regular treatment to avoid aggravation of the condition.
