When do children change their teeth?

Under normal circumstances, children will start to change their teeth around the age of 6, but due to individual differences, the earliest eruption of permanent teeth can be at the age of 5, or 7 years old.
1. There are 28~32 permanent teeth, 7~8 on each side of the upper and lower jaw. Generally, the first permanent tooth erupts around the age of 6, but the actual situation varies from child to child, and there may be children who begin to change their teeth at the age of 5 or 7.
2. Between the ages of 6 and 12, milk teeth are gradually replaced by permanent teeth in the same place, with the 1st and 2nd premolar teeth replacing the 1st and 2nd molar teeth, which is the mixed dentition period. The second permanent molar will then erupt around the age of 12, and the third permanent molar (also known as wisdom teeth) will erupt around the age of 18, while some people do not have the third permanent molar throughout their lives.
If the age of tooth replacement is too early or too late, it is not normal and it is recommended to go to the hospital in time.
