What to look for in a drug-resistant TB follow-up visit

  1. Monthly review of liver and kidney function, sputum smear 3 times, bi-monthly review of chest CT, nail function, electrocardiogram, and every 3 months review of sputum TB culture. For mycotuberculosis injection, electrolyte monitoring is also required every month.  2. Insist on taking anti-tuberculosis drugs, usually 2 to 6 months for intramuscular injection. In the latter 3 months, intramuscular injections are given every other day.
