The ear area has many skin folds and is prone to eczema because of its high oil secretion. Eczema is an inflammatory skin reaction with a pronounced tendency to exude caused by a variety of internal and external factors. In the acute phase, the lesions are mainly papules with a tendency to exude; in the chronic phase, mossy lesions predominate and are prone to recurrent episodes. The treatment of ear eczema and other parts of the eczema is divided into systemic medication and topical medication. 1. Systematic medication: anti-inflammatory and anti-itch. Antihistamines, sedatives and tranquilizers are available, but glucocorticoids are generally not recommended; calcium, vitamin C and sodium sulfate are available for intravenous injection in the acute stage; antibiotics are added for secondary infections. 2, topical drug therapy: follow the principles of the use of topical drugs. In the acute stage, glucocorticoid cream can be used for those without exudation or with little exudation, and boric acid solution can be used for cold and wet compresses for those with exudation, and glucocorticoid cream can be used after exudation is reduced, and can be used alternately with oil; glucocorticoid emulsion and paste can be used in the subacute stage; antibiotics can be added to prevent and control secondary infection; ointment, hard cream and coating agent can be used in the chronic stage; glucocorticoid can be used for intra-dermal lesions for stubborn limited skin lesions. Injections of glucocorticosteroids can be used for intra-lesion injections for intractable lesions (for specific medication, please refer to the doctor’s instructions in the clinical setting). During the treatment period, attention should be paid to the avoidance of all suspected causative factors, avoiding spicy food and alcohol during the onset of the disease, and avoiding excessive washing and scalding. The occurrence of eczema has a lot to do with environmental factors, so pay attention to avoid wearing non-breathable clothing and stay in cool places as much as possible to reduce the occurrence of eczema.
