Anechoic cysts have a high probability of being benign tumors and may also be malignant. Anechoic cysts are often the manifestation of ovarian cysts, generally anechoic ovarian cysts refer to ovarian cysts containing a large amount of fluid, and most of the ovarian cysts belong to the benign lesions, malignant lesions are extremely rare, but does not completely exclude the possibility of malignant lesions. Cysts are diseases in which various pathogenic factors lead to the development of localized cystic structures in the ovaries, which contain a large amount of fluid and are therefore seen as anechoic or hypoechoic areas on ultrasound examination. Most cysts are benign, but a very small number of cysts may become malignant. If a patient presents with a small ovarian cyst with a thin envelope, and may have no obvious symptoms, then such cysts tend to be considered benign and physiologic, and generally have a higher chance of resolving on their own. There may be no obvious symptoms, if diagnosed as benign lesions, generally do not need special treatment, can be temporarily observed and regular review. In case of larger benign ovarian cysts, patients may experience symptoms such as lumps on the affected side, pain in the lower abdomen, difficulty in urination and defecation. If the patient has malignant cysts, follow the doctor’s instructions for surgical treatment, according to the condition with radiotherapy, chemotherapy and other comprehensive treatment.
