Radix Panax Ginseng: Radix Panax Ginseng is cool in nature and bitter and sweet in taste, it can be used to treat thirst and dry throat caused by deficiency of qi and yin, heartburn, etc. Although it is a qi tonic, it also has the effect of clearing away heat, and is attributed to the heart, lungs and kidneys meridians. However, it is not recommended to take it if the yang is weak, or if there is cold and dampness, so as not to hurt the yang and help dampness.
2. Ginseng: ginseng is slightly warm and bitter-sweet, this drug is a strong tonic, not only to replenish vital energy, treatment of qi deficiency, but also nourish the blood and tranquilize the spirit, treatment of qi and blood deficiency. In addition to the heart, lung and kidney meridians, this drug is also attributed to the spleen meridian, which can tonify the spleen qi. Ginseng should not be used in conjunction with Wulingzhi, and the drug is warm in nature, so it is not recommended to use it in excess or for a long period of time if it is not a serious illness.
It should be noted that ginseng should not be used with quassia, and ginseng should not be used with Wu Ling Zhi.
