Surgical removal of hyperplastic polyps of the rectum is usually considered for treatment. Surgical resection is a common treatment for hyperplastic polyps that occur in the rectum. Depending on the location of the polyp, a resection program can be chosen. If it is a single polyp, the location of the lower can be anally resected, the polyp location of the higher patients can be removed under the electronic enteroscopy. In the case of multiple hyperplastic polyps of the rectum, open surgery may be required to partially resect the rectum or anal canal at the site of the lesion for treatment purposes. After surgery, patients are advised to take bed rest, avoid overwork, and eat a light and nutritious diet. Therefore, if patients have hyperplastic rectal polyps, it is recommended that they go to the hospital for a detailed examination in a timely manner to clarify their condition and then choose the corresponding treatment.
