Double Dan Cream, composed of Salvia miltiorrhiza and Mudan Pi, has the effects of activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis (promoting blood circulation and eliminating blood stasis in the body), clearing the veins and relieving pain. It is clinically used in the treatment of chest paralysis caused by blood stasis in the heart (insufficient qi in the heart, obstruction of blood flow), symptoms include paroxysmal pain in the heart and chest, such as thorns like strangulation, fixed and immovable, worse at night, accompanied by tightness in the chest and palpitation (accelerated heartbeat, often accompanied by heartburn), dark complexion, purplish tongue or petechiae, bruising of the veins under the tongue, and a sunken or junctional vein, and angina pectoris in coronary artery disease, with the above-mentioned symptoms.
