Prostate puncture biopsy is not recommended for people with acute infections, fever, and those who are at risk for high blood pressure.
Prostate puncture biopsy is usually performed on patients with suspected prostate tumors. Prostate aspiration biopsy is recommended if rectal palpation reveals a suspicious nodule in the prostate, or if PSA is abnormal, or if prostate MRI suggests an abnormality.
However, the following conditions are contraindications to prostate puncture biopsy: ① in the acute infectious stage, fever; ② hypertensive crisis; ③ in the cardiac insufficiency decompensation stage; ④ serious bleeding tendency of the disease; ⑤ hypertension, diabetes mellitus and other comorbidities are poorly controlled; ⑥ combined with severe internal and external hemorrhoids, perianal or rectal lesions should not be puncture through the rectal route.
