How much does a cardiac angiogram cost?

There are generally two types of cardiac imaging, one is cardiac imaging under CT and the other is cardiac imaging under an interventional catheter or DSA. The price of these two methods is different. If the coronary CTA is done, the total cost is about$1,800, while if the cardiography is performed under an interventional catheter, the cost is more than$3,000, but the coronary CT examination can be done on an outpatient basis without hospitalization, while the cardiography under an interventional catheter must be performed in a hospital. The gold standard for diagnosing the degree of coronary artery stenosis still requires DSA. This test cannot be performed if the patient is allergic to iodine contrast, or if the patient has severe hyperthyroidism.
