There are Liu Wei Di Huang Wan, Qi Ju Di Huang Wan and Zhi Bai Di Huang Wan. Six-flavored Di Huang Wan is indicated for kidney yin deficiency, Qi Ju Di Huang Wan is indicated for liver and kidney deficiency (weakness of the liver and kidneys), and Zhi Bai Di Huang Wan is indicated for yin deficiency and fire exuberance (deficiency of yin and essence in the body, resulting in hyperactive fire).
Six-flavored Di Huang Wan is composed of Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum, Rhizoma Coptidis, Rhizoma Zedoariae, Radix Paeoniae Mudanensis, Poria and other medicines.
It is effective in nourishing yin and tonifying the kidney, and is used in treating dizziness and tinnitus caused by deficiency of kidney yin, lumbar and knee soreness and weakness (a feeling of soreness and weakness in the lumbar and knee regions), bone vapor and tidal fever (a burst of heat, feeling that the heat is penetrating from inside the bone to the outside), night sweating (abnormal sweating after going to sleep and stopping after waking up), spermatorrhea, and dyspareunia.
Wolfberry, Chrysanthemum, Chrysanthemum, Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, Cornus Officinalis, Rhizoma Dioscoreae, Rhizoma Dioscoreae, Poria, Mudan Pi and other medicines are used in this formula. It is effective in nourishing the kidney and liver, and is used in treating liver and kidney yin deficiency, dizziness, tinnitus, shyness and photophobia, tearing in the wind, and blurred vision.
It is effective in nourishing yin and reducing fire (nourishing yin essence and lowering fire), and can be used to treat yin deficiency and fire exuberance, hot flashes and night sweating, bitter dryness and sore throat, tinnitus and spermatorrhea, and short and reddish urine (small amount of urine with dark yellow color).
