Is it normal for two-month-old babies to have boogers?

Boogers are the secretions produced by the glands of the human nasal mucosa during the normal metabolic process, and everyone has them. If the amount of nasal discharge is too much or the color of the nasal discharge changes abnormally, it may indicate an abnormal phenomenon. Clinically, if the baby has a cold, flu or sneezing, the boogers may increase significantly. If there is a bacterial infection, the color of the boogers may appear as a purulent yellow crust. If there is bleeding, there will be clots in the boogers. You can use a small cotton swab to get the boogers out gently. If the boogers are particularly large and hard, it is better to seek treatment from a doctor.
